Grey was found in a burnt house in the fire-stricken area of Mati, Nea Makri just outside Athens along with his sister Spark. They are both 2.5 months old, were suffering with a serious case of worms and severe malnutrition. Grey is undergoing worm treatment and seems to have no other problems although he and his sister are being seen regularly by the vets for checkups. We suspect he was a stray and that his mum went missing in the fires as he is extremely thin.
Grey is hilarious, he hisses when you try to pick him up (at 900g of cat), and then purrs the minute you stroke him. He is playful and sweet, he thinks he is a tough big boy, but he is actually a huge softie and enjoys lap time, cuddles and love. We thought he was a grey cat, but after bathing him (to get the ash from the fires off him) he turned out to be a beautiful grey tabby. He is currently in foster care with his sister Spark (https://verypet.stadar.org/animal/cat/25) and we would like to adopt them out together if possible.
